Project Period: December 2013 – December 2015

The project is devoted to the study and analysis of the phenomenon of informalities in social and political life of Armenia and Georgia. It will include a study of the impact of informalities on the processes of state-building, democratic development and the rule of law, stability, reformation processes and the functioning of key institutions in two countries of the South Caucasus.

The result of the project will be the study of informality institutions (especially the informal networks of power, in the specific area of two countries domestic life, according to their case-studies) functioning in Armenia and Georgia, their main features, the impact on specific areas of social, political and economic life in general and in more detailed examples of two case studies.

The results will be published and presented to the scientific community at conferences and seminars.
